1. Who we are
BizKids Market is a community market for young entrepreneurs under 18, based in Perth, Australia. If you have any questions about this policy, contact us at darien@bizkids.com.au.
2. What we collect
When you submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) form, we collect the details you provide — typically parent/guardian name, contact email, child's name and age, and a short description of the proposed stall or business idea.
We also collect basic, privacy-friendly website analytics: pages viewed, country, device type, and referring source. This data is aggregated and does not personally identify you.
3. How we use it
- To contact you about the market, your registration, and event updates.
- To plan stall numbers, age groupings, and event logistics.
- To improve the website and understand what content is useful.
4. Who we share it with
We do not sell your information. We share it only with the service providers we use to run the site and the event — currently Google Forms (for the EOI form), our website hosting provider, and our analytics provider. If we use advertising platforms such as Facebook to reach more families, basic anonymous activity may be shared with them for ad measurement.
5. Cookies & analytics
We use a lightweight, privacy-respecting analytics tool. It does not use tracking cookies that follow you across other websites and does not collect personal data.
6. Children's privacy
BizKids Market is designed for young people under 18, but registrations must be made by a parent or guardian. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted information without parental consent, email us and we will remove it.
7. Your rights
You can request a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email darien@bizkids.com.au and we will respond within a reasonable time.
8. Data retention
We keep EOI information only as long as needed to plan and follow up on the market. After that, we delete or de-identify it.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will always show when the most recent change was made.
